Q: How do I use the migraine relief gel hot & cold therapy cap?
A: The cap can be heated in the microwave or cooled in the freezer, depending on your preference for hot or cold therapy. Once heated or cooled, place the cap on your head and adjust for a comfortable fit. Leave the cap on for 15-20 minutes for optimal relief.
Q: which therapy is more suitable for headaches hot compresses or cold compresses ?
A: Ice and heat can be used to reduce headache pain . In general, most migraine sufferers prefer cold compresses . Patients with tension or muscle contraction headaches may prefer warm compresses .
Q: how long does it stay hot/cold?
A: About hot compress : put it in the microwave oven , heat it in medium fire for 15 seconds, test if the temperature is acceptable , if it is too low, continue to heat it for 10 seconds, and The expected hot compress temperature is 40 ℃. About the time of cold compress : because of the freezing time and the difference in temperature feeling of everyone, we tested that the freezing time can be from 2hrs cold compress for 25-30min.
Q: Does ice gel pack freeze?
A: the forever flexible and plastic jelly shaped gel will not form ice even put in the fridge-18℃ freezer . It fits the contour of the head more closely and feels softer and closer to the skin .
